Kim Noorda by Viktor Vauthier for Tank Fall 2011

I love this editorial, Kim Noorda looks so cute in it!

I've been at Beatherder this weekend, a small festival in Lancashire which has been amazing so far. It's just full of hippies and reggae, which is basically why I love festivals so much. I like making festival buddies with the camp next door and just chilling and listening to amazing music. The only thing I hate is the mud. And camping. My docs are completely ruined, but whatever, I'll admit I have been home everyday (we're only 15 minutes down the road) to have a shower and clean up. So tonight we've got Lee Scratch Perry which should be amazing...

Could anyone recommend any other good festivals? I've been to Glastonbury twice and am looking for something a bit different next year, I've heard T in the Park is good.

Friday Inspiration

Stone Coin Purse by Hirotoshi Ito, Miu Miu and Eniko Mihalik for The Room Magazine

I went to Oxford yesterday which was amazing. I did an English afternoon and met some of the tutors from St Peter's College, and it's really inspired me to work super hard for university. I was quite intimidated at first - everyone seems so clever and the buildings are really old and big; amazing architecture everywhere. Hopefully I'll be able to do well enough to get into Oxford, but the afternoon made me realise that whichever university I go to,  I'll enjoy an English and French course because I just love talking about and seeing all the different viewpoints and interpretations of literature.

Friday Inspiration

Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor quote and one of my favourite summer songs Miami - Foals, even though the weather in England is anything but summery at the moment.

Audrey

I love this summery picture of Audrey Hepburn, and Breakfast at Tiffany's has got to be one of my all time favourite films. I always cry when Holly chucks Cat out of the car at the end; I don't think I'd ever forgive someone who did that!

I went back to sixth form today, and being really nerdy, I am really looking forward to A2 English Literature; the course looks fantastic. You are able to pick your own book within certain themes, so I'm going to buckle down and read lots over the next few weeks (click here for a look if you're interested).

Has anyone got any good/favourite reads they would recommend?

My Favourite Topshop Heels at the Moment

1. WOWZA metallic wood heel wedges, £65
2. LIMA wooden heel sandals, £85
3. PREMIERE glitter strap wedges, £92
4. LIONESS blonde wood sandals, £85
5. WYNNA glitter wooden wedges, £55
6. LASSIE leopard stacked sandals, £55

Aren't they fantastic! I have an obsession with gold and glitter at the moment so these are perfect and really wearable. Sometimes I'm not a great fan of the Topshop clothes but I think you can always count on them to produce amazing show-stopper shoes.
